How can we
help?
Quick answers about VibeNotch, and a real person on the other side when you need one.
Frequently asked questions
Is it compatible with my Mac?
Yes. It works on every MacBook with a notch and, thanks to bubble mode, on any Mac or external display. It requires macOS 14 or later and runs on Apple Silicon and Intel.
I don’t see my music in the notch.
Open VibeNotch Settings › Media and make sure your app (Music, Spotify, Apple TV or QuickTime) is enabled. The first time, macOS will ask permission for VibeNotch to control it; if you declined, enable it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Automation.
My events or reminders don’t appear.
Press EVENT in the expanded notch and allow access to Calendar and Reminders. If you declined, enable it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars and Reminders.
How do I set up quick actions?
Pick up to four apps in VibeNotch Settings. They appear at the bottom right of the expanded notch, one click away.
How do I use the teleprompter?
Press TELE in the notch, type or paste your text, choose ticker or credits mode, the speed and the countdown, then press VER.
How does Sports work?
Turn it on in Settings › Sports. The 2026 World Cup is free. Other competitions are part of the optional Sports subscription, which you can manage or cancel at any time in your Apple account settings.
Does it affect battery life?
No. VibeNotch is written in native Swift: under 60 MB of memory and less than 1% CPU at rest. Features you don’t use can be switched off so they don’t even load.
Is it a one-time purchase?
Yes. VibeNotch costs €4.99 once and includes every update. Only Sports for additional competitions is an optional subscription.
