Internet connections

VibeNotch only connects to the internet in these cases, and never sends personal information:

  • Artwork. If your player doesn’t provide the cover, it’s looked up in the public iTunes API using the song’s title and artist.
  • Sports. If you turn it on, the app fetches public scores from ESPN only while your competitions have matches on. With no matches, or with Sports off, it makes no requests.
  • Purchases. The app purchase and the optional Sports subscription are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details.
No telemetry.

No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers. We have no servers of our own.

What we don’t collect

  • Personally identifiable information
  • Location data
  • Usage analytics or statistics
  • Automatic crash reports
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Browsing history

Because we collect no data, there is nothing to export or delete. You can reset your preferences in the app’s settings or by removing it. VibeNotch collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
