Does it work if my Mac has no notch?

Yes. Bubble mode floats the same interface at the top of the screen on any Mac running macOS 14 or later. You can also choose which display it appears on.

Is it a subscription?

No. VibeNotch is a one-time purchase of €4.99 with updates included. Only the extra Sports competitions use an optional subscription; the 2026 World Cup is free.

Does it drain battery or resources?

Practically nothing. It’s written in native Swift: under 60 MB of memory and less than 1% CPU at rest. Features you don’t use, like Sports or the teleprompter, can be switched off so they never load.

What data does it collect?

No personal data. There are no accounts or analytics: your music, agenda and reminders are read on your Mac and never leave it. Sports only fetches public scores while matches are on.

Which music apps does it work with?

Apple Music, Spotify, Apple TV and QuickTime. You’ll see the real album art, title, artist and progress, and control playback from the notch.

Can I fit it to my notch?

Yes. Adjust the width, height and corners, choose between expanding on hover or on click, and turn each alert on or off.
